Step 01 - Our Meet & Your Brief

What’s included:

  • A home visit to discuss your project

  • Our written brief capturing your requirements

  • Our fee proposal for our services

  • Our appointment agreement

  • Arranging a measured survey (including drainage) by a local surveyor or us *

  • Planning advice from a planning consultant if needed *

Step 02 - Our Concept Design

What’s included:

  • OS location plan * with a red line showing your legal site boundary (signed off by you)

  • Site / plan analysis (us understanding the constraints and opportunities of your nest)

  • Sketch drawings (plans & elevations) based on your brief

  • Quantity Surveyor advice on project costs (based on typical rates) *

  • Structural Engineer advice on the structure for the project *

  • Identifying other consultants required *

  • Health & Safety advice (your role as a client: see our FAQs)

  • Pre-application planning advice from a planning consultant if useful *

  • Home meeting to review the design options, agree next steps, and sign-off
